Yamuna Express Way ! The Emergency Airbase of Indian Air Fore
Delhi to Agra is 233 km via Yamuna Express Way which is one of the smoothest highways I have zoomed through in India. Even the Indian Airforce has tested is as a runway for its MIG aircrafts in case of emergency (Wow! this calls for a definite visit, Doesn’t it?). I even managed to touch 150 kmpl in my Honda City. The highway has three toll plazas with have all necessary facilities of Gas Station, Food Joints, Washrooms etc. You will love to munch some quick snacks there before you reach Agra.
A Two Hour Wrap Of the City !
The Expressway will directly connect you to the state highway which will take you to the Taj Corridor. Taj Corridor is a well maintained pathway to Taj Mahal. Go and say Wah Taj! Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz. The graves of the Emperor and his beloved queen are still present in the graveyard at the basement of the complex. This is the best you can do if you have a short window of Two to Three hours. I completed this in my way to Jaipur ! You may also plan to spend a day here and explore other corners
